STOCKPORT CHIEF EXECUTIVE TAKES ON CHINA CHALLENGE

Helen McHale, Chief Executive of Stockport Homes certainly likes a challenge! She has agreed to walk the Great Wall of China in October to raise much needed funds for Stockport Homes’ charity of year: Beechwood Cancer Care.

      The grueling walk takes
      place over six days, with up
      to seven hours of walking
      per day, over tough and
      challenging terrain in a
      mixture of very hot and very
      cold conditions.

Angela Gray, Fundraising Manager from Beechwood, Cancer Care said:

“Beechwood is delighted that Helen is taking on such a huge challenge to raise funds. Special people who do extraordinary events make a massive difference to a small charity like Beechwood and each and every one of us will be cheering her each step of the way.”
