Signpost for Carers is a registered charity which provides free information and support to the estimated 30,000 people caring for a relative or friend in Stockport.
The Outreach Project goes out into the community to inform Carers of services and benefits which may assist in making their caring role a little easier. We have regular information points at Stepping Hill Hospital, Clinics etc and attend local supermarkets to provide information to Carers.
The Outreach Project organize regular Wellbeing days for carers. This event gives carers the opportunity to have relaxing therapies, health checks, manicures and meet fellow carers. Above all the chance for carers to take a short break from their demanding caring roles.
