A little bit of background
Led by Managing Director, Tony Jones, Orbit Developments was established in 1971 and is the commercial division of The Emerson Group. Tony also sits on the Totally Stockport BID board.
In total, Orbit Developments’ UK portfolio amasses over 8 million sq ft. of commercial property space accommodating 2,000+ customers.

As the biggest private commercial property landlord in Stockport, we are committed to making the town even better! Over the past 5 years, we have not only invested in the refurbishment of our own buildings, we’ve also sponsored local events and initiatives such as Headlander, Stockport Fringe Festival, The Stockport Business Awards and Stockport’s Giant Leap Frog Art Trail. In 2016, Orbit became headline sponsors of the massively popular Foodie Friday event.
As part of our commitment into supporting the town, we launched the SKone card for our customers. The card offers discounts at local independent retailers; with the aim being to promote and regenerate the business community in Stockport, by highlighting the fantastic attractions, independents and infrastructure available right on our doorstep.
